1956 Corvette







Out with the old in with the new, we pulled out the 283 and four speed and we are replacing it with an LS6 and a 700r4 from Turnkey Engine Supply. Not only will it run like a late model Vette but it will handle more like one to with a new independent suspension kit from Jim Meyer Racing Products. The rear suspension is being replace with a Moser ford 9" narrowed 1" and suspended by Jim Meyer racing products 4 bar setup. Gauges are being replaced with Auto meter white face Phantom's, the speedometer will be painted to match the Auto Meter gauges. Cockpit will be kept cool with the addition of air conditioning by Hot Rod Air, engine cooling will be handled by a radiator from Portell Radiator.
